Welcome to your local Cats Protection!
We are part of Cats Protection, UK's leading feline welfare charity. We are one of a network of 29 adoption centre and over 250 volunteer run branches covering the UK.
Our Centre was opened in 2001 and we have 40 pens including, homing, kittens, maternity and isolation. Each year we home approx 600 cats and kittens, but we still always have a long waiting list for cats to come into the centre.
We are open 11am -4pm seven days a week and you are welcome to visit us during these hours (no appointment needed) to view the cats in our care which are patiently waiting for new homes. You can also view their photos on our "Home a cat" section.
If you reserve a cat, we arrange a home visit prior to you taking your new pet home. This means we can make sure you have chosen a cat suitable for your home life and environment and enables you to ask any questions you may have. The areas we can home cats in are St Helens, Liverpool, Widnes, Runcorn and Warrington. If you live outside of these areas please call Cats Protection on 08702 099099 with your postcode and they will be able to direct you to your local branch.
 | | OPEN DAY Sunday 31st August We are holding our Open Day on Sunday 31st August from 12 - 3pm. As a charity, we rely entirely on donations and fundraising to enable us to carry on helping cats in need. Please come along and support us and have fun too - there will be stalls, tombolas, refreshments, bouncy castle and more. You can also see all the gorgeous cats and kittens patiently waiting for loving homes.
